It is necessary that your customer turn OFF the machine when installing a new
OEM cartridge (required on the OEM manual).
In this specific case the chip fuse is not a locking device, but the fuse reset
the printer when installing a new cartridge.
It is VERY IMPORTANT to reset the PRINTE (not the cartridge), since it regulates
the Toner & Developer cartridge usage ratio, if not reset the printer will not
notice the new cartridge and it may cause light prints or background typical
problems of wrong toner & developer ratio.
NOTE: your customers must purchase 2 fuses one to perform a cartridge test (that
will be burned on the test lab), and a second one to be installed on the
cartridge, since it has to be there to reset the end user printer.
