This initiative has two locations to serve the orphanage's purposes: the first property houses children from the ages of 0 to 12 years old and provides caring and devoted 24-hour assistance to the “living orphans” - children abandoned by parents who were unable to care for, or raise them. Some of the children had been abused, or their parents have passed away while others were removed from their homes by a court order. At PROSIP Orphanage program, they find a permanent family that believes strongly in preserving good values and traditions.
The second facility houses girls from 13 to 17 years old, most of them have suffered from serious social, health, and emotional gaps. This initiative is comprised by a support team that assists in providing the girls with a normative, family-like atmosphere for a healthier upbringing as well as to prepare them for a future adult life, career advancement and to become self-sufficient.
UniNet allocates a percentage of its global income to fund this program. Our company is keen to improve the quality of care for each and every child in the orphanage. In addition, UniNet is dedicated to empower these individuals by reintegrating them into the society with education, life and work skills that will promise them a better future.

Today, more than 10 kids have been already integrated into the Brazilian job market; and some are procuring promising careers at UniNet Brazil. Such is the case with Evandro Silva (pictured right), who has been brought up in a municipal orphanage and has now been gladly working at UniNet Brazil for more than four years.
PROSIP Orphanage Program is situated at Ribeirao Pires, a municipality in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. This humanitarian project has developed additional initiatives that include:
Future Professional - In a number of societies, orphaned communities face a significant amount of social stigma. In an effort to fight this anomaly, PROSIP set a goal to raise awareness among companies at Ribeirao Pires to open their job market for advancement opportunities and to encourage them as well to hire individuals after leaving the orphanage project.
Adoption Support - Through this program, interested recipients are interviewed and qualified by the Ribeirao Pires County to adopt kids of the age of 5 and older.
Warm Family - Aims to establish a healthy foundation between emotionally stable families and/or responsible single individuals to offer short-term foster care, and to help children who are going through a strenuous stage in their lives, and to offer them much needed emotional support. |
